Funeral Live Streaming, Photography & Videography in London
I'm Shaun, and I provide professional funeral live streaming, funeral photography and funeral videography across all London boroughs — from large Caribbean and African church services in East and South London to historic Catholic funerals in Westminster, Greek Orthodox services in South London, Ethiopian Orthodox ceremonies in Battersea, and crematoriums and cemeteries across the capital.
London is the most culturally diverse city in the UK, and that diversity is reflected in the funerals I cover. Every faith, every tradition, every community — I have experience working across all of them, and I approach each service with the same care, discretion and technical preparation.
I arrive early, set everything up before guests arrive, and work quietly throughout so you and your family can focus entirely on the day.
Real London Funerals — A Snapshot of My Work Across the Capital
The breadth of London's communities means the funerals I cover here are unlike anywhere else in the country. Here is a selection of real services I have provided across the city — each one linking to the full case study.
Memorial Service at Pitzhanger Manor, Ealing
A celebration of life for a young woman held at Soane's Garden Room within Pitzhanger Manor — a Regency villa designed in part by Sir John Soane, in Ealing. Guests arrived to live piano music, a tribute film I had created played during the service, and Celebrant Ruth Graham led a deeply personal afternoon of music, speeches and remembrance. I provided both photography and videography — the film preserved particularly for her young daughter to watch when she is older.
You can read the full case study here: Memorial Photography & Videography at Soane's Garden Room, Pitzhanger Manor.
Jamaican & Caribbean Funerals
I have provided funeral live streaming and videography for Jamaican and Caribbean services across London, including a three-camera live stream at The Rock Church in Walthamstow with a horse-drawn carriage at the family home — watched live by over 220 viewers across six countries including Jamaica, the USA, Australia and Grenada. Read the full case study: Jamaican & Caribbean Funeral Streaming — The Rock Church, Walthamstow.
Ethiopian Orthodox Funeral Streaming — Battersea & Islington Cemetery
I streamed an Ethiopian Orthodox funeral at St Mary of Debre Tsion in Battersea, travelling overnight to be ready for an 8am service — the coffin wrapped in the Ethiopian flag, four priests chanting in Ge'ez, and 1,240 viewers joining live from 12 countries including 383 in Addis Ababa. Read the full case study: Ethiopian Orthodox Funeral Streaming — Battersea & Islington Cemetery.
Westminster Cathedral — Catholic Funeral Photography
I was asked by a family to photograph a Catholic funeral Mass at Westminster Cathedral — the longest Catholic nave in England — working alongside Chelsea Funeral Directors, followed by the committal and a dove release at Mortlake Crematorium. This example demonstrates how we provide professional funeral live streaming services in London and across the UK.
Roy Battersby — Commissioned by Kate Beckinsale
I was commissioned by actress Kate Beckinsale to film the funeral of her stepfather, BAFTA Award-winning TV director Roy Battersby, at Mortlake Crematorium — attended by Christopher Eccleston and colleagues from his career directing Inspector Morse, Cracker and A Touch of Frost. Read the full case study: Roy Battersby — BAFTA Director, Mortlake Crematorium.
Greek Orthodox Funeral Photography — Camden & Brompton Cemetery
I photographed a full-day Greek Orthodox funeral across three London locations — Levertons Funeral Directors, All Saints Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Camden (arrived by horse-drawn carriage with a Scottish piper), and a burial at Brompton Cemetery in the rain. Read the full case study: Greek Orthodox Funeral Photography — All Saints Cathedral & Brompton Cemetery.
Greek Orthodox Funeral Streaming — Crystal Palace
Multi-camera live streaming for a Greek Orthodox service in South London — the Parastas liturgy, incense, the farewell kiss at the open coffin, and streaming to family in Greece and Cyprus. Read the full case study: Greek Orthodox Funeral Streaming — Crystal Palace.
LGBTQ+ Inclusive Ceremony — London
Filming a completely open, celebrant-led ceremony with Kirtan chanting led by Nikki Slade and a Whirling Dervish performance — one of the most beautiful and unique services I have covered. Read the full case study: Filming a Beautiful, Inclusive Funeral Ceremony with Music, Dance and Love.
Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park — Photography & Streaming
A celebration of life at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park — a Scottish piper leading guests across the grounds, lunch between the service and the burial, and combined photography and live streaming for those unable to attend. Read the full case study: Funeral Photography & Streaming at Pembroke Lodge & Richmond Cemetery.
Andrea Levy — Golders Green Crematorium
I photographed the memorial service of Andrea Levy — author of Small Island and one of the most significant British-Jamaican writers of her generation — at Golders Green Crematorium. Read the full case study: Andrea Levy — Golders Green Crematorium.
