Funeral slideshows and tribute videos are one of the most popular things families ask me for. A slideshow brings everybody together around shared memories, and keeps the focus where it belongs: on the person you're there for, their face, their stories and their life.
I'm Shaun, and I edit every funeral slideshow to the beat of the music, so you can bring in all of their favourite songs and every photo and clip lands in time. Each one is fully customisable, from music that matches the era of the photos to the places they loved shown in custom graphics, with voiceovers if you'd like them. I follow your brief, whether that's 40 photos and one song or the whole story of a life.
One of my most recent tribute films ran to 12–13 minutes. It moved through different moments of his life with custom graphics, included video clips he had recorded as messages for his grandchildren and family, and I brought all the equipment needed to play it at the funeral. It was the highlight of the day.

What Is a Funeral Slideshow or Tribute Video?
A funeral slideshow is a short film of photographs set to music, played during the funeral, memorial or celebration of life and kept by the family afterwards. A tribute video does the same with video clips added, so you can see them move and hear them laugh again.
A tribute film is a longer, more personal version of the same idea. It can include photographs, video, voiceovers and more than one piece of music, and is shaped to tell the story of someone's life rather than simply run through a set of images.
Families call these lots of different things: a memorial slideshow, a memorial video, a photo montage, a video tribute, or, at many crematoriums, a visual tribute. They all mean the same kind of thing, and I make all of them.

How Your Funeral Slideshow Is Made
1. Send Me Your Photos and Clips
Send me your digital photos and any video clips. If your photos are printed, in albums or frames, I can come to your home and scan them for you (£250 plus travel), and I can restore old or damaged ones. Not sure how many to choose? Read my guide on how many photos to use in a funeral slideshow.
2. Choose the Music
Tell me the music, names and any wording you want included. I license music through Artlist and hold a PRS for Music licence. For ideas, see my guide to the best songs for a funeral slideshow.
3. See a Draft and Ask for Changes
I edit your slideshow and send you a draft to watch. If you'd like anything changed, such as the order of the photos or a missing picture, just tell me.
4. Receive Your Finished Film

Help to Play Your Funeral Slideshow on the Day
If you'd like, I can be there on the day to support you and make sure your tribute plays at exactly the right moment. I bring the equipment needed, including a TV, projector and screen, and sound, so it works in a church, hall, hotel or home with no screen of its own. At crematoriums with screens, often run by systems such as Obitus or Wesley Media, I can liaise with your funeral director and the venue. If the funeral is being live streamed, I can play your tribute full screen so everyone watching on their phones, tablets and computers sees it too, wherever they are.
