Hertfordshire funerals take me from market-town churches in Hitchin to Caribbean services in Stevenage and graveside burials in Elstree. Real funerals in Hertfordshire
St Mary's, Hitchin. In August 2026 I live streamed a family's church service and the burial afterwards, so relatives who couldn't be there followed the day from the church to the graveside. I've worked at St Mary's before, filming a Jamaican funeral there with snow on the ground. You can watch the stream above.
High Street Methodist, Stevenage. In April 2026 I streamed a Caribbean service in the church sanctuary, watched live in Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Anguilla, the USA, Canada and the Gambia as well as across the UK. For families with relatives that far away, the stream is often the only way to be there.
Hertfordshire's crematoria and cemeteries
Harwood Park near Stevenage, North Hertfordshire Memorial Park near Hitchin, West Herts at Garston and Hertford Crematorium cover most of the county. Burials are often at Hatfield Hyde, Allum Lane or the town cemeteries. Graveside streams need some planning outdoors, especially in winter.
