Funeral Live Streaming, Photography & Videography in Westminster | Central London
I'm Shaun, and I provide professional funeral live streaming, funeral photography and funeral videography across Westminster and Central London — from historic Catholic churches and prestigious ceremonial venues to crematoriums, cemeteries, and celebration of life events across the city.
Westminster is home to some of the most significant funeral venues in the country. I have personal experience working at Westminster Cathedral, the Guards' Chapel at Wellington Barracks, Kensal Green Cemetery, and Golders Green Crematorium, the Church of the Holy Apostles as well as many other Central London churches, chapels and venues across Mayfair, Soho, Marylebone, Paddington and Pimlico.
I always arrive early, set everything up before guests arrive, and work closely with your funeral director throughout so that you and your family can focus entirely on the day.
A Real Westminster Funeral — Catholic Photography at Westminster Cathedral
One of the most significant funeral photography commissions I have undertaken took place at Westminster Cathedral — the mother church of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, and one of the most extraordinary buildings in London.
I was asked to photograph a Catholic funeral Mass at the Cathedral and the subsequent committal at Mortlake Crematorium in a documentary, storytelling-led style. The family had carefully reviewed my work and wanted an honest record of the day — real moments, real emotions, nothing staged or directed.
Working alongside Chelsea Funeral Directors and the Westminster Cathedral team, I photographed from arrival through to the dove release in the crematorium gardens — the full story of the day.

This example demonstrates how we provide professional funeral live streaming services in Westminster, London and across the UK.
A Zimbabwean Funeral — Church of the Holy Apostles, Pimlico
I recently had the privilege of live streaming a beautiful Zimbabwean funeral at the Church of the Holy Apostles on Cumberland Street in Pimlico. The coffin was carried in and out to African singing, the family gathered in beautiful traditional dress, and the whole service was filled with music, hymns and heartfelt tributes.
Altogether 571 people followed the service live across nine countries — including 179 watching from Harare in Zimbabwe — so that loved ones around the world could be part of the day in real time. You can read the full story here: A Zimbabwean Funeral Live Streamed from the Church of the Holy Apostles, Pimlico.

Venues I Cover in Westminster and Central London
Westminster Cathedral — the largest Catholic church in England and Wales, with Byzantine architecture, a vast nave, and the kind of acoustic and visual complexity that requires careful advance preparation. I have photographed here and understand the Cathedral's protocols for camera placement during Mass. See my Westminster Cathedral funeral photography case study.
Guards' Chapel, Wellington Barracks — the ceremonial military chapel of the Household Division, where I have provided both streaming and photography for military funerals. See my Wellington Barracks military funeral case study.
Golders Green Crematorium — London's oldest operating crematorium, where I photographed the memorial service of novelist Andrea Levy. See my Golders Green Crematorium photography case study.
Kensal Green Cemetery — one of London's Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries, with Gothic monuments and tree-lined avenues serving families across West and Central London.
Mortlake Crematorium — serving Richmond upon Thames, Hammersmith and surrounding areas. I covered the committal here alongside the Westminster Cathedral service referenced above.
Westminster Abbey and other major London churches — I work across denominations and venues throughout Central London. If you are arranging a service at a venue not listed here, please get in touch to discuss.
Photography and Videography for Westminster Funerals
Westminster's historic venues are among the most visually significant settings for funeral photography in the UK. The architecture, the light, the scale — all of it becomes part of the visual record of the day.
My approach is always documentary rather than posed — I work from the edges using longer lenses, respecting the protocols of each venue, capturing the genuine moments as they unfold rather than directing anyone or interrupting the service.
Many families combine funeral photography with funeral live streaming — the stream for those who cannot attend in person, and photographs as a lasting record for the family. Managing both as a single service means the two work together rather than in competition.
For funeral videography — a crafted, edited film of the service — my funeral videography page explains how this differs from both a live stream and photography, and when families typically choose it.
Cultural and Community Experience in Westminster
Westminster is one of the most culturally diverse areas of London, with significant Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Orthodox Christian, Hindu, and multi-faith communities. I have experience providing funeral services across all of these traditions and many others — adapting approach, camera positioning and audio setup to what each service requires.
I also regularly work with families who have loved ones abroad — in Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, North America and beyond — for whom funeral live streaming is the only way to be present at the service in real time.
Shaun did an incredible job filming our family funeral. This was so important to us as we wanted to share the service with our families in Jamaica, Barbados, and the rest of the world.
From start to finish, Shaun was incredibly easy to work with. His availability during out-of-hours and late at night was a pleasant surprise. The finished video he produced exceeded our expectations. He captured all the culturally significant aspects of the funeral, ensuring nothing was missed. He worked tirelessly throughout the day, filming the family home, the church, the open coffin, the burial, and the wake. He wasn't intrusive, but worked diligently and with the greatest respect.
The crisp quality of the video and audio was beyond anything we or our family had ever seen before. We are absolutely thrilled with our choice and feel lucky to have found him. We cannot recommend him enough.
