Real funerals in Derbyshire
St Anne's, Baslow. I've streamed twice at St Anne's in 2026: a memorial service in March, which you can watch in the video above, and a funeral in August. Family and friends far from the Peak District followed both live, and each replay stayed on the same link for 3 months.
All Saints, Ripley. One of the most moving days of my career: a boy's pirate-themed funeral, with hundreds of people in pirate dress lining the streets. The family booked filming and photography, so they have a record of everyone who came to say goodbye. Read the Ripley story.
Crematoria and signal
Derby families use Markeaton Crematorium; Chesterfield and District at Brimington serves the north-east, and Amber Valley at Swanwick the middle of the county. In the Peak, the challenge is signal: stone churches in deep valleys. I bring my own connection and test it first, and graveside services need extra planning outdoors. The replay stays up for 3 months, so family can rewatch.

Funeral videography: a carefully filmed and edited film of the day to keep.
Funeral photography: discreet, documentary-style photographs of the people and the moments.
Tribute slideshows: photos and music to play during the service or share afterwards.
Funeral AV: PA, microphones and screens for the church, hall or graveside.
Overflow rooms: if the church is full, I relay the service live to a hall next door.
