New Southgate Cemetery & Crematorium, London - January 2019

Another lovely family that I had the privilege of filming for. i was back in London, this time at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wood Green. It wasn’t long before the horse drawn carriage arrived with family and friends and the service got underway as the saxophonist played during his entrance.

Vernal’s Coming Home service was filled with tributes, readings, and hymns. After the service we travelled a few miles away to New Southgate Cemetery & Crematorium. Everyone filled the cemetery with singing and prayers as they laid him to rest. A few members of the family helped fill the grave in before the digger completed the rest with family and friends bringing flowers and photos to decorate the grave. Such a lovely family and an absolute privilege to be a part of the day. It was also nice to work with Melville & Daughters Funeral Directors for the first time.
