Preserving Memories: Creating a Meaningful Tribute Film for a Family

Tribute Film: Scanning, Digitizing, and Remembering

This family asked me to help them create a Tribute Film from all their lovely photos which they had gathered after their Dad had recently died. His funeral was in a few weeks time and they wanted to use the Slideshow at the Wake. They had lots of printed photos but no way of digitising them, so they asked me to do it for them. This was a 320 mile round trip for me but well worth the journey as the photos were pretty amazing

It was incredible to hear all the lovely stories that each photo generated which brought plenty of smiles, laughs and tears as the three sisters shared their memories with each other.

Preserving memories is important to all of us which is why it’s always a privilege to create tribute films for families. I always take great care to arrange the images to the beat of the music that the family have picked in advance. Music can be a powerful took when family and friends are viewing the Tribute Film making the Slideshow a much more immersive experience.

The final result was a beautiful and emotional Funeral slideshow that the family absolutely loved. I was proud to have helped this family preserve their precious memories in a way that they can share with future generations.

It's a privilege to be able to offer this service to others and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do so. If you're wondering how to create a Tribute Film for a Funeral then don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'll be happy to work with you to create something truly special.
