Yorkshire Funeral Photographer - A Viking Funeral

Today I was at Grenoside Crematorium in Sheffield, South Yorkshire in what felt like a warm spring day. This was my first visit here, so a new Crematorium for me. After a quick chat with the friendly team I was ready and set up for Ethan’s Funeral. There was a festival theme the the ceremony with everyone wearing bright colourful clothing and viking helmets to celebrate his life. There was music, dancing and some amazing tributes to this young mans life. An absolute privilege to be there as a Funeral Videographer to capture this event. Thank you to the whole family for having me.

Memorial Slideshow and Tribute Film - Leaving a Message for my loved ones

It was an absolute privilege to create this Slideshow for Mark who is terminally ill and wanted to leave a thank you message to all those special people in his life.

One of the amazing things about my work is that I get a glimpse into peoples lives in a way that I wouldn't have normally. This always reminds me to make the most of every moment with those around me.

So here’s to Mark, a brave man with a terminal illness who wanted to say a special thank you to all those amazing people in his life. Thank you for reminding me of how important those people that make up our experiences and memories really are. Something we so often take for granted.

Essex Funeral Videographer & Funeral Photography

It was a long journey to this beautiful part of the country for a Funeral in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. The family had asked us to cover both video and Photography for the whole day. This included the Hearse arriving at the Family Home, the Church service, the burial at Clacton Cemetery and the Wake. It was a really busy day for me and my team (Roshni & Dave) with all the different locations and often very little time to pull our equipment down and set up again, whilst making sure we captured everything on behalf of the family. Luckily the weather was on our side with nice blue sky’s which was especially good when we were outside for the Burial at Clacton Cemetery. So here are a few photos of the day, with the aim of giving you an idea for what we do. A huge thank you to the family for inviting us and making us feel so welcome on the day.

Leicestershire Funeral Photographer

I started the day at the family home in Leicestershire where a Horse Drawn Carriage (Buckminster Funerals) arrived with the coffin draped in a beautiful shroud which was also a family heirloom. Then it was off to the Church of Our lady of Good Counsel, Leicestershire for Chris’ Memorial Service where a Scottish Bagpiper (Piper Paddy Mc Gowan ) led him into the church. The priest (Father. Abbem Emmanuel) was so lovely, he did a wonderful thanksgiving service allowing the whole family to reflect on his life. After the ceremony finished we went to Gilroes Cemetery and Crematorium where the final blessing and burial took place. It was a bitterly cold day, but the sun came out as everyone said their final farewells.

Thank you so much to Priscilla for booking us to film and photograph Chris’ day. You put together such a beautiful day and showed real strength. Thank you for all the chats we’ve had on the phone and for being so kind and welcoming to me. It was an absolute privilege capturing these moments for you.

Asian Funeral Photographer - Photographing a Hindu Funeral

This particular funeral was a Hindu Funeral, which was very beautiful and it took place at Thorncliffe Cemetery and Crematorium in Barrow-in-Furness. Cumbria. The day started at the Co-op Barrow Funeral Care to film the family arriving and the horse and Carriage as it left. Then it was on to Thorncliffe Crematorium for the ceremony. As is custom, this was an open coffin funeral with a lovely Hindu ceremony involving lots of flowers, butter and other traditions. The care and preparation was incredible, truly beautiful to watch and record on behalf of the family and was probably one of the most intricate ceremonies I have had the privilege to attend. This was followed by the wake which took place at the Chetwynde Hotel

“Mrs P” recently passed away but earlier in her life she was a dispatch driver in World War ll where she was responsible for delivering important messages and no doubt encountering plenty of danger along the way. After the war she continued with her fascination and love of motorbikes, so it was fitting that her coffin arrived on a stunning full length Trike hearse. Brilliant!!

Here’s a 30 Second Promotional Film I created for Albin Internation Repatriation a couple of weeks ago. This was commissioned for an award ceremony they are attending towards the end of October. I’ve worked with F A Albin’s & Son’s a number of times over this last year as I’m their recommended Funeral Videographer. Bedfordshire Funeral Videographer - St Albans Woodland Burial Grounds

Bedfordshire Funeral Videographer

Yesterday I was out filming for a lovely family at St Albans Woodland Burial Grounds in Bedfordshire. This was my 3rd funeral of the week and it turned out to be a very windy day. To be honest I was a little worried about the strong winds as this was an outside burial in the woodlands. I got there nice and early and found the spot in the woodlands where the burial was taking place. Luckily it wasn’t as windy in the middle of the woodlands as it was a lot more sheltered, so that was good news for me.

i got some lovely establishing shots for the film of the natural surroundings before the family and hearse arrived. I was stunned with how beautiful, peaceful and magical St Albans Woodland Burial Grounds was. A stunning place to be laid to rest. I can see exactly why the family chose this place.
