Oxfordshire Funeral Photographer

Oxfordshire Funeral Photographer – St Giles’ Church, Oxford & Botley Cemetery

As an experienced funeral photographer, I was recently honoured to capture the funeral and burial of Professor Stanley in the heart of Oxford. The service took place at the historic St Giles’ Church, a beautiful and peaceful setting that offered both character and reverence to the day’s proceedings.

Working closely with Reverend Andrew Bunch, whose understanding and warmth helped support the family throughout, made the experience especially respectful and smooth. It is always a privilege to collaborate with clergy who prioritise the needs of the bereaved.

I was commissioned by Lucy and the dedicated team from The Individual Funeral Company, an independent funeral director known across Oxfordshire for their compassionate, personalised care. They reached out on behalf of the family to ensure the day was fully and respectfully documented.

The service included heartfelt tributes that painted a vivid portrait of Professor Stanley’s life, work, and legacy. These moments were captured with care and discretion, allowing family and friends to look back on a service that was filled with meaning and honour.

Following the church service, we continued to Botley Cemetery, where the final committal took place in a peaceful, green setting. As always, I aimed to record the most emotional and significant parts of the burial — from the procession to the final blessings — in a way that respects the sanctity of the moment.

For families planning a funeral in Oxfordshire, we offer a full range of funeral streaming, videography, and photography services. We work across churches, cemeteries, and natural burial sites with a discreet and compassionate approach.
