Leicester Funeral Videography - Funeral at Great Glen Crematorium
Leicestershire Funeral Videographer - Great Glen Crematorium
As a funeral videographer in Leicestershire, this was my first visit to the Great Glen Crematorium, and I was honoured to document such a poignant and well-organised service.
The beautiful Leicestershire countryside provided a fitting and peaceful backdrop, while the elegant architecture of the crematorium offered a serene setting for this emotional farewell.
A Bagpiper’s Tribute and Union Jack Coffin
A Scottish bagpiper led the hearse along the approach road to the crematorium. It was a powerful and emotional moment as the coffin, draped in a Union Jack flag, was carried by family members into the chapel for the committal.
The ceremony was sensitively led by Rev Les Gil of Long Street United Reformed Church, and his words were filled with warmth and compassion. The atmosphere throughout was one of respect, remembrance, and unity.
Gratitude to the Funeral Team
A heartfelt thank you to Kerry from R. C. Weston & Son Funeral Directors, South Wigston, for finding and booking me on behalf of the family. It was a pleasure to work alongside such a thoughtful and professional team.
As always, it was a privilege to support a family in this way — helping preserve the memory of the day through discreet, respectful, and high-quality funeral filming. My goal is always to ensure the moments that matter most are captured with care and dignity.
