Our Funeral Videography, Photography & Live Streaming Blog
Welcome to the UK Funeral Video Services blog — a collection of real stories, case studies, and behind-the-scenes insights from the many funerals we’ve had the honour of documenting across the UK.
Here, you’ll find examples of our funeral live streaming, videography, and photography work, each one reflecting the care, professionalism, and compassion that guide everything we do. From Caribbean and African funerals to military ceremonies, church services, natural burials, and celebrations of life, these posts show the diversity of families and traditions we’ve worked with and the respect we bring to every occasion.
Each article offers a glimpse into the planning, technical detail, and emotion behind our work — highlighting how thoughtful filming and photography can preserve memories, connect families worldwide, and honour a loved one’s life with beauty and dignity.
Remembering Roy John Battersby: A Tribute to a British Television Director
It was a privilege to be the funeral videographer and capture the final farewell of Roy John Battersby, a distinguished British television director whose legacy spans iconic drama productions like "Between The Lines," "Inspector Morse," "Cracker," and "A Touch of Frost." His remarkable career, beginning with documentary features for BBC programs like "Tomorrow's World" and "Towards Tomorrow," solidified his place in the annals of television history.
Greenacres Chiltern Natural Burial Grounds - Funeral Videography
Whilst most of our work of late has been live streaming, here’s a funeral we filmed a couple of days ago for the lovely Steve Mead, whom I had the privilege to meet last year and who’s life was cut short by this dreaded disease.
His Funeral took place at Greenacres Chiltern Cemetery & Woodland Burial Site set in 72 Acres of beautiful woodland. This was the perfect setting to celebrate his life and the journey into the forest where he was buried and surrounded by nature was truly beautiful.
The Good Funeral Guide - 'Be Better' Event 2019, Stratford-Upon-Avon
I was thrilled to be invited to Photograph the 2019 Good Funeral Guide - ‘Be Better’ Event on behalf of the Good Funeral Guide earlier this month. It took place at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Studio Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The day was full of inspirational & progressive Speakers, some of whom I have worked with on funerals in the past.
“My dear friend George Richmond, the Director of Photography for the Marvel movie Deadpool, took on the responsibility of selecting a videographer for my husband's funeral. He chose you out of everyone he looked at, and I am immensely grateful for that decision.
Your work is truly remarkable - from the beautiful opening shots to the impeccable sound quality and the finer details throughout. The way you captured the vibrant blue sky was touching, especially since my husband had such an affection for blue skies. My heartfelt thanks for everything you've done.”
