Traveller Community Funeral - Pershore Abbey - 2nd May 2018

Traveller Community Funeral - Pershore Abbey - 2nd May 2018

Today I filmed a funeral for the Traveller Community in Tewkesbury, Cotswolds. This was a big funeral and such a lovely family who had lost someone who was a real cornerstone of their community.  Sarah's thanksgiving ceremony took place at Pershore Abbey which is a very beautiful church. As the hearse arrived the heavens opened, which is meant to be a good sign in the traveller community. When I say the heavens opened, I mean it really did throw it down but luckily I had my umbrella and someone held it for me as the coffin was carried into the church for the ceremony.

After the ceremony it was off for the burial at Pershore Cemetery. Family and friends brought so many flowers. I have honestly never seen as many in all my life. The creativity behind them was incredible. There were caravans, Turkish delights, giant hearts made from roses, dogs, tv stands from her favourite shows, jam jars and much more, all made from flowers. Incredible!

Feedback from Adam James Funeral Service

Feedback from Adam James Funeral Service

Dear Shaun,

After thirty years as a funeral director, I decided that upon the devastating loss of my own father that his funeral needed to be as exceptionally distinctive as possible. So that the memory of the day was not confused with the thousands of similar events conducted throughout my career, I turned to you to capture the entire performance on film, so that I could revisit the day in years to come.

Each and every detail that I had specified was videographer and edited to the highest standard, the sound and visual quality are superb. Your personal attention to detail was tasteful with a thorough understanding and knowledge of the event that you were engaged to document. The editing and varying camera angles have captured the entire funeral performance magnificently. All this was achieved by the remarkable non-intrusive and discreet presence of both yourself and your equipment.

I would not hesitate to promote and encourage any clients of Adam James Funeral Service to avail themselves of your excellence.

Warm Regards,

London Funeral Videographer - Mavis Graham's Memorial Service

It was a real privilege to capture Mavis Graham's Memorial Service on behalf of her family. A horse and carriage was arranged for her journey between the family home and Christ Church Clapham in London. Vicar Rev. Penny Rose-Casemore held a lovely service on behalf of the family, a soloist sang beautifully and various family members shared stories about her life. After the ceremony it was off to Streatham Cemetery, in Tooting for the graveside burial.

Manchester Funeral Videographer - Bikers Tribute

Manchester Funeral Videographer - Bikers Tribute

It's been a busy week with three funerals up and down the country in a row. Friday I travelled up to Manchester to Film Stephen's Funeral in Oldham.

Stephen suddenly passed away at the beginning of February which was a huge shock to the family. Stephen was massively into his motor bikes and so it was fitting that he had a bike Hearse for his journey to Hollinwood Cemetery and Crematorium where his memorial service was took place. After the service family and freinds headed to the Victoria Hotel in Manchester for his Wake and some final goodbye drinks.

A huge thank you to the Whitehead Family for inviting me to film the day. xxx
