It was an absolute privilege to be invited to film and photograph this touching funeral for a wonderful family in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire.
The day began at St Paul’s Church in Letchworth, where family and friends gathered to honour a loved one’s life. Despite the cold wind and heavy skies, the atmosphere inside was filled with warmth and love. The service was beautifully conducted with heartfelt tributes and personal reflections that celebrated a life deeply cherished.
Following the church ceremony, we travelled to Icknield Way Cemetery. The family gathered around the grave for final prayers and blessings. As gospel songs filled the air, many guests took turns helping to backfill the grave, creating a powerful sense of community and shared remembrance.
