Oxfordshire Funeral Photographer

Today I travelled to St Giles’ Church in Oxford for the Memorial Service and Burial of Professor Stanley. As a Funeral Photographer it’s always a relief when the Vicar is easy going and Rev Andrew Bunch was an absolute pleasure to work with. It was also lovely to meet Funeral Director Lucy and her team from the Individual Funeral Company who originally booked me on behalf of the family.

Watford Funeral Videographer - Buddhist Ceremony

Today I travelled to West Herts Crematorium in Watford to Film a Buddhist Sri Lankan Funeral. I filmed the arrival of the guests, the hearse as it approached the crematorium, pallbearers as they carried the coffin, the ceremony, family and friends as they paid their respects to Percy and everyone as they gathered outside afterwards before leaving for the wake.

The Buddhist monks added so much to the ceremony with their chanting sutras as they performed the traditional Buddhist rites.  Percy's family wore traditional white clothing and family members reflected on the way he lived his life and how he showed much kindness to others. He sounded like an amazing man.

It was an absolute privilege to be chosen to film this lovely ceremony on behalf of this beautiful family.

Northampton Funeral Photographers - All Saints Church, Mears Ashby,

It was a privilege to be asked by Averil Phillips & Family Funeral Directors to both film and photograph a family Memorial Service on behalf of the Miller family at All Saints Church in Mears Ashby, Northampton a couple of weeks ago.  We started at the family home where the family asked us to capture some essential close family shots of everyone together around Barry's Casket. The family had commissioned a silver American style coffin which was wow, amazing!

All Saints church was literally a just a 2 minute walk, moving from the house to the church was very easy. The church was full and soon the family arrived and carried Barry down the aisle to the front of the church. The Vicar and all those who spoke talked about Barry's amazing life and all the things he achieved. It was incredible to help capture through film and photography, the thoughts, stories, prayers and ways that Barry touched the lives of those around him.
