USB Keepsake Boxes

As funeral photographers and videographers we're always looking for ways to present our photos and funeral videos as nicely as we can. Over the last few years many photographers and videographers continue to move towards offering downloads only after capturing an event. However, we prefer to give something that's tangible, something you can pick up, hold and feel. So we had these beautiful USB Keepsake boxes handmade just for our clients which are perfect for holding your images, films and printed photos all in one place. We hope you like them as much as we do :)

Funeral Photographers - All Saints Church, Mears Ashby, Northampton

It was a privilege to be asked by Averil Phillips & Family Funeral Directors to both film and photograph a family Memorial Service on behalf of the Miller family at All Saints Church in Mears Ashby, Northampton a couple of weeks ago.  We started at the family home where the family asked us to capture some essential close family shots of everyone together around Barry's Casket. The family had commissioned a silver American style coffin which was wow, amazing!

All Saints church was literally a just a 2 minute walk, moving from the house to the church was very easy. The church was full and soon the family arrived and carried Barry down the aisle to the front of the church. The Vicar and all those who spoke talked about Barry's amazing life and all the things he achieved. It was incredible to help capture through film and photography, the thoughts, stories, prayers and ways that Barry touched the lives of those around him.

Jessica King Memorial Service, Parkwood Crematorium, Halifax, Yorkshire

Occasionally I am asked to record a memorial service for someone who's life has been drastically cut short. Thursday was such a day and by far one of the most difficult funerals I have ever filmed. This was the memorial Service for 23 year old mum Jessica King who was sadly murdered in Halifax, Yorkshire a few weeks ago. I was asked to film and capture the day so that one day her children could watch the film and understand what an amazing person she was and how much she was loved by all her friends and family.

The Funeral was organised by the family run Emotions Funeral Services and the memorial service was held at Parkwood Crematorium in Elland, in Halifax. Tributes were beautifully led by Funeral Celebrant Caroline Sharp.

Firefighters Memorial Service at Southwark Cathedral, London

A few weeks ago I was in London city centre Filming a memorial service on behalf of F A Albin & Sons Funeral Directors.  The Memorial Service was for Danny, a young Firefighter, husband and father of two who very sadly collapsed and died shortly after starting his shift.

He was a very popular and well respected man and had worked at a number of Fire Stations throughout London, so this was going to be a very busy day. I started filming at New Cross Fire Station where a 1920's Fire Engine was brought in to carry him to Southwark Cathedral. On the way to Southwark Cathedral we stopped at Milwall Football Stadium for a short signing ceremony just outside the stadium. The Fire Engine and family then passed Peckham Road Firstation on Old Kent Road for a drive by and then finished with a lovely service at Southwark Cathedral where there was a guard of honour with firefighters lining the streets as he arrived.

The memorial Service and the day was so well thought out and it was a real honour for us to be chosen to capture this incredible send off for Danny.

Manchester Funeral Videographer - Requiem Mass & Graveside Burial

Occasionally Funeral directors contact us on behalf of their clients. So it was really nice for Paul Williams Independent Funeral Directors to get in touch with us again and request our services. This time to film a Requiem Mass at a Catholic Church in Prestwich, Manchester at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church.

The Vicars were an absolute pleasure to work with, which made my job so much easier. It was a lovey touching service and once it had finished we headed off to Radcliffe Cemetery in East Lancashire for the final graveside burial and readings. It was a cold windy day and once the casket had been lowered, the vicar gave his final blessings and the family and guests said their heartfelt goodbyes.

Another lovely family whom it was an absolute privilege to create another memorial Video for. Many thanks Shaun xxx

South London - Carl O'Brien's Memorial Video

A few weeks ago I was asked by the family of Taxi driver Carl O'Brien who sadly died after being attacked outside his home in South London in Chelsea. The family asked me to create a Funeral Video centred around the thoughts and tributes of his family and friends. Carl was a hugely popular in his community in London and boy was this a big funeral.

When I arrived at All Saints Church in Carshalton, London there were so many people. As the funeral hearse arrived with Carl, dozens of taxis also followed in support and the crowd in support of Carl clapped as he drove up to the church. It was such an emotional yet incredible moment. The memorial service was beautiful and his daughter Laura spoke beautifully when leading his tribute. After the memorial service we headed to London's North East Surrey Crematorium for the final blessing followed by the wake at Carsharlton Athletic Club.

The O'Briens were such a lovely family and it was a real privilege to have been asked to capture Carl's Memorial Service and produce his Funeral Video on behalf of you all.

Many thanks Shaun xxx

"The Memorial Video Shaun created was better than I could have ever imagined."

"I would like to thank Shaun for providing a professional and discreet service. My dad passed away unexpectedly and at a young age. I had no idea how to plan a funeral, however Shaun was patient, kind and helped me through the process. The Funeral Video he created for us is so beautiful. It's better than I could have ever imagined, especially as the day was such a blur for me.

Shaun services were competitively priced and I would thoroughly recommend him. The film he produced was tasteful and showed the funeral as a celebration of my dad's life. Thank you so much Shaun, I mean every word and really appreciate all your help."
